The Greta Bike -- Southside Summer 2005 This old Schwinn was given to me by my dear friend, Greta Ann in 2003. She saved me from a bikeless summer after I'd worn out the LL Bean crossbike I'd had for 15 years. I am forever grateful. I have ridden it thousands of miles, including my first century in the fall of 2004 in West Palm Beach, with the Leukemia Society's Team In Training Program. The sign on the crossbar, says, "Lord, make every pedal stroke a prayer for Greta Ann & Diek."
